SOLINA Netherlands is a leading supplier in spices, herbs and sauces with sites in Rotterdam and Nieuw-Vennep. There they produce for various customers; restaurants, specialist butchers, producers of ready meals, snacks and other food. Within the Solina group, there are 2 sites specialized in sauces: Nieuw-Vennep in NL and Elland in UK.

Because of the continuous growth of Solina, we are currently looking for a Sauce Product / Solution Manager (M/W).



The Sauce Product / Solution Manager will be responsible for the product group strategy and tactics (where to play and how to win) based on market insights in wet sauces in B2B, butchers and foodservice markets.
He/she is also responsible for the development of the wet sauce sales and contribution on a consolidated basis for Solina Group.
Furthermore he/she will create the right internal conditions and give pro-active support to capture the maximum value from wet sauce’s customer’s demand.

Sales and marketing.

Support actively the sales development of Wet Sauces Sales in all identified areas by assisting each country/area with the identification of the added value gaps in their country/area.

Product line strategy

Define “where to play” and “how to win” for the core markets B2B, Butchers and Foodservice per country/area in close cooperation with the regional commercial team.

Pricing strategy

Develop the product group pricing strategy taking the local market drivers into account on close cooperation with regional sales management and country management

Product/Solution life cycle management

He/she plays a major role in the conception, launch, optimization phase and phase out.


  • the candidate has a successful experience (5 to 10 years) in international industrial businesses in the B2B and/or food service industry, with mostly customers customized products and a high degree of flexibility in service as well customers being mostly national and mid sized enterprises;
  • did have a similar job as Product Manager or (international) Key Account Manager;
  • high level negotiation required;
  • preferably understanding of and experienced in the Wet Sauces Business in Europe;
  • exposure to multi cultural environments (West, North, South and Central Europe);
  • ability to work in a matrix organization ;
  • HBO or bachelor level or equivalent – technical background appreciated;
  • heavy travel (50%) – Europe
  • English required and Dutch appreciated.
