Company Overview

Role Purpose…
As a Talent & Organisation Development specialist, your role is to lead the Talent & OD Centre of Expertise agenda for the Region working as part of the Regional HR team and closely with the Global Talent & OD CoE

Key responsibilities…
Your responsibilities will include:

Lead the Regional activities of the Talent and Organisation Development CoE
▪ Create and own a Talent & OD strategy and calendar for the region that is aligned to the Global strategy and plans, and the region’s business and HR priorities in areas including Talent Management, Performance Management, Culture and Engagement, Diversity & Inclusion and Learning

▪ Ensure the effective implementation in the region of agreed Talent & OD programmes and processes including key calendar and project activity

▪ Ensure consistent practices are used across the region by working with the HR Lead and relevant Business Partners, tailoring components to local when there is a clear business case

Key Initiatives
▪ Collaborate on the development of new global and regional Talent & OD programmes ensuring they are aligned to the region’s business priorities and realities.

Talent Management
▪ Guide and support the creation of high quality talent identification and development plans for individuals identified as future leadership talent;

▪ Own and deliver in the region the regular talent review process particularly in respect of leadership, critical and specialist roles and manager/senior manager

Succession Planning
▪ Guide and support the creation of high quality succession plans for critical/niche roles to support the identification of future potential talent;

▪ Own and deliver in the region the succession planning process particularly in respect of leadership, critical and specialist roles

Performance Management
▪ Guide and support the creation of a high quality performance management culture consistent with the Global Talent Philosophy;

▪ Own and deliver in the region the regular performance management process, including calibration, aligned to the agreed standards and guidelines in partnership with Global and the client facing HR teams

Talent Analytics
▪ Maintain and share high quality data and insights around Talent and OD subject matter to advance and inform decision making.

Culture & Engagement
▪ Support embedding in the region of the Winning Culture and ways of working

▪ Own and deliver in the region the regular engagement assessment/employee surveys process;

▪ Guide and support the embedding in regional people plans of specific activities to improve engagement;

▪ Manage internal communications with multi-channel approach; leverage the potential of ‘Workplace’ and technologies

Learning & Development
▪ Guide and support the creation and implementation of learning and development plans for key populations identified in the region;

▪ Oversee L&D vendors and cost management strategies in the region sharing and leveraging resources and approaches from other regions.

▪ Provide the necessary support to assist in the upskilling of the HR team in Talent, OD, Change Management subject matter expertise.

Reporting lines…
This role reports to the HR Lead for the Region and works closely with the regional HR team, the Global Talent & OD CoE and other regional Talent & OD Managers;


Key requirements…
To be successful as a candidate you will need the following:

▪ A relevant degree and/or professional qualification; focus on Psychology, Organisation Behaviour or other related subject area an advantage;

▪ Fluent English, verbal and written;

▪ Able to demonstrate track record in talent and leadership areas ideally in a Talent role;

▪ Ability to influence and advise HR colleagues and Executives in order to identify and deliver future talent needs and work collaboratively across the HR Model to secure successful outcomes;

▪ Expertise and track record of delivering high quality outcomes in talent management, behavioural frameworks, learning & development, career paths, etc.

▪ Ability to achieve and deliver in a ‘transition’ and multi-location/country environment and manage in high levels of ambiguity;

▪ Able to oversee, plan and execute concurrent activities to time, quality and budget that align clearly and directionally to business strategy and purpose;

▪ The ability to educate and influence through excellent interpersonal, communication, influencing and facilitation skills – challenging constructively where appropriate.

▪ Ability to set appropriate standards, measures and targets to support Talent & OD CoE in achieving strong performance outcomes;

▪ Experience in partnering with HRD’s, business leaders to identify solutions using sound judgement and commercial reasoning supported by data and analytics to inform decision making.

Key success measures…
To include measures such as:

▪ Alignment of the global and regional Talent Agenda with Business and wider HR planning and delivery;

▪ Delivery of internal % Hires against Critical Roles;

▪ Agreed % increase in Employee Engagement survey results;

▪ Identification, development and retention of key talent pools and HiPo’s;

▪ Key talent moves orchestrated as part of planned development activity;

▪ Succession plans built for critical roles;

▪ High quality, effective and consistent talent calibration across the region aligned to global frameworks;

▪ Upskilling of Regional HR team

▪ High level Engagement/Organisational Health measures - Diversity, Respect & Inclusion metrics understood by Talent and Business executive and targets built into business planning;

▪ Effective cross working with other CoE’s, HR Partnering teams.
